Hi, I'm Tyanna, I am currently a student at Humber College going into my fourth year studying Child and Youth Care. I was inspired to become a CYC Practitioner so that I can create more inclusive spaces for Black LGBTQ+ youth. It is essential for children and youth to have access to a facility that will provide a safe space for them to be their authentic selves. I believe that there needs to be more advocacy for adolescents who struggle with low income, substance abuse, and concurrent mental health issues. I am passionate about spirituality, astrology, poetry, and everything related to music. Tune into our weekly podcasts and I can ensure you I have talked about all three.
